Reality to Teen Suicide

   In the United States suicide is the 3rd leading cause to death for teenager ages 15-24 years old. Suicide is not always taken as serious as it should be. At some point in life most people have the thoughts and feelings of suicide. An estimated 2 million people attempt to kill themselves each and every year. A total of 2,000 actually go through with suicide. Only 700,000 recieve any sort of medical attention for their feelings towards death.

    Teen Suicide always has some warning signs that adults may neglect to pay any sort of attention to. Some signs that a person may obtain that an adult may not look for are, stress, loss of personal security, self-esteem,confusion, financial uncertainty, and the fear of growing up.  You should always take a teen serious when they give verbal warnings. Some examples of this may include. "I won't be a problem for you much longer." "Nothing matters." and " I won't see you again." These statements should be some sort of sign to adults. Be sure you listen carefully and watch out after your teen.
